Just past the VA Hospital, this place is welcoming to people of all walks of life.nnThe environment is clean, safe, and nuturing. The staff are committed to their students, their craft, and each other.nnThe studio is surprisingly mobility friendly, although people in motorized wheelchairs would find it difficult to navigate beyond the front area.nnI am most impressed by the genuine and friendly connection the staff has with everyone, including each other.nnIt is refreshing to see a complete lack.
At first I was taken back by all of the text messages. I know now my coach even sent me a video. But a thought in the back of my mind told me only people that care about you contact you a lot. I stumbled into Rogue Combat Club and had some previous experience, but the sole focus on nogi has significantly leveled up my grappling game. Great instruction with a variety of styles and tough rolls. Plus, they make a bomb recovery protein shake that rotates monthly. What else could you want?.
Initially, I went in with some anxiety. I'm not in great shape, nor do I have any experience with martial arts. I have only been a member at Rogue for about 2 weeks and I have to say it has already been such a great experience. Everyone I've met has been super supportive, patient and kind. I feel more confident and am buzzing with endorphins when I leave. 10/10 recommend coming in and seeing for yourself what this gym can do for you!.
